CTO and Application Engineering manager: Functional Safety and Security, ASIC Design and Verification

Job Description:

In this position, you will lead Optima’s technology roadmap together with the CEO and develop new products, flows, methodologies and services for two of the hottest challenges in semiconductors: Functional Safety and Security of Automotive and other safety-critical chips.

This includes:

  • Working with Optima’s customers on defining new flows based on their needs, standards requirements and Optima’s technological infrastructure
  • Work with Optima’s RnD on detailed requirements, implementation specifications and algorithms
  • Work with Optima’s partners on collaborations and partnerships
  • Build and manage Optima’s Application Engineering group for pre-sales and post-sales
  • Represent Optima at international conferences and exhibitions
  • Write or help write papers and articles
  • Develop the company’s expertise in chip
  • Represent Optima at the relevant Functional-Safety and Security International standards like ISO-26262

Qualifications:

  • BSc. in EE/CS or equivalent from a well-known academic institute
  • At least 10 years of experience in ASIC design flows (front-end, back-end, synthesis, DFT, verification)
  • Hands-on experience in Verilog and/or VHDL is a must.
  • High-level English language, written and oral
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Open-minded and good team player in brain-storming sessions
  • Innovative with the ability to create new algorithms and patents
